Morgan County BOE personnel action

•Approved the transfer of George M. Johnson from history teacher at Danville High to social studies teacher at West Morgan High, effective for the 2002-2013 school year. He is replacing Anna Hodges who was non-renewed.

• Accepted he resignation of Chuck Smith as counselor at the Morgan County Learning Center, effective at the end of the 2011-2012 school year.

• Approved Phillip Banks as head varsity girl’s basketball coach at Wert Morgan High School, effective for the 2012-2013 school year.

• Approved Jeremy Heath Saint as 7-12 health teacher at West Morgan High School, effective for the 2012-2013 school year. He is replacing Craig Cleveland who retired.

•Approved contract with Elizabeth Denard to translate 2012-2013 school documents at the Central Office with total payment not to exceed $20 per hour (not to exceed 25 hours), This will be paid for with EL monies.

• Approved Cynthia Wiley as title I reading teacher (certified) for grades 5-8 at Danville Middle School, effective for the 2012-2013 school year. This is a new position.

• Approved transfer of Douglas Heath Oldacre from physical education teacher/coach at Danville High School to certified teacher (access) and varsity boys basketball coach at Brewer. He is replacing Sam Brown who resigned the coaching position. He is replacing Jared Minor who was non-renewed in the teacher’s position.

• Approved Dan Brady Styles as 9-12 history teacher at Brewer High School, effective for the 2012-12013 school year. He is replacing Rod Collins who retired.

• Approved Dusty Schofield as countywide SPE support staff (Brewer High School, effective for the 2012-2013 school year. He is replacing Fred Childs who was non-renewed.
