His pick was the only turnover in the game, and officials flagged only six violations, three for each team.

Priceville’s first teams held a commanding 28-0 lead at halftime, after which second team players took over and finished the game.

The Bulldogs scored on their first possession, marching 75 yards on seven plays. The drive was capped with a 34-yard touchdown pass from Baker to Bell. It came with 5:16 left in the first quarter and was followed by Bell’s extra point kick.

They scored three more times during the final 2:45 in the first half. Clemons bulled his way into the end zone from eight and nine yards out and Bell scored his second TD on a 55-yard pass from Barker. He also kicked all three extra points.

Priceville’s backup players unit got off to a slow start in the second half but finished with a flourish.

Pope John Paul’s only score came with 9:09 left in the third quarter. It resulted from Thomas Weaver’s 50-yead run up the middle. Ryan Soprano booted the extra point to make the score 28-7.

The Bulldogs answered by scoring twice in the final quarter.

Strazelle Jiminez scored on a 24-yard run with 4:37 left in the game, capping a drive that covered 80 yards in eight plays. Back up kicker Peyton Morris converted the extra point.

On the last play of the game, Eli Cole scored on a 42-yard pass from backup quarterback Luke Mason. Morris kicked the extra point.
