A fish pond is located on the church property. It will be stocked with fish for all to enjoy. It will also be used as a training center for those wanting to fish or learn canoeing.

“Most of our members love the outdoors,” said church secretary-treasurer Crystal Barnett. “Fishing, hunting, camping and hiking are part of our lifestyle.

“We believe if we instill in children at a young age a love of nature, it will help keep them out of trouble as they mature into adults,” she pointed out.

“Our church welcomes families who are looking for a church home,” she added. We ask newcomers to give us a try, and if they’re not happy we’ll help them find another church home.”

Dress for worship services is casual and all staff members are volunteers.
