A memorial service for Jessie Ruth Watson was held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 12:30 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Todd Evans officiating.
Peck Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Watson died Friday, July 13, 2007, at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by two sons, Hugh Watson and wife Elizabeth of Cummings, Ga. and Douglas Watson and wife Cindi of DeBary, Fla.; a daughter, Janice Slocum and husband Gordon of Hartselle; a sister, Mary Hobbins of Michigan; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
