Noted author plans book signing at BHS

Jan Crawford Greenburg, daughter of Joe and Carolyn Crawford, will be at Brewer High School on July 28 to celebrate the publishing of her recent New York Times bestselling book, "Supreme Conflict: The Inside Story of the Struggle for Control of the United States Supreme Court."
The book tells the story of the Supreme Court, going behind the scenes to reveal never-told stories on the justices and how they reached some of their most important decisions.
Greenburg is a legal correspondent for ABC News in Washington. D.C. She is a Morgan County native and a1983 graduate of Brewer High School. She graduated in 1987 from the University of Alabama, where she was editor of the student newspaper, The Crimson White. She joined the Chicago Tribune in 1987 and was sent to Washington to cover the Supreme Court in 1994, following her graduation from the University of Chicago School of Law.
She has covered the Supreme Court for News Hour with Jim Lehrer, CBS's Face the Nation, World News with Charlie Gibson, Good Morning America and Nightline.
The event will take place from 3-5 p.m. in the Brewer High School concourse.
