Fundraiser set for family who lost their home to fire

A fundraiser will be held for the Linderman family who lost their home and pet dog recently. The pet alerted the family to the fire and they all got out safely; however, the dog went back into the burning house to rescue its puppy and never made it back out,

The fundraiser is being sponsored by Linderman family cousins and will be held at the Punkin Center Volunteer Fire Department on Kirby Bridge Road Sat., March 24, from 2 p.m. until all donations from family and friends are sold. Some of the clothing items the family needs are listed as follows: little boys clothes, size 6 and shoes sizes 11 and 12; men’s clothes, size 34/34 pants, xlarge shirts and shoes 9 1/2 wide; ladies pants, size 26, shirts 1x and 2x and shoes size 10 and also large overshirts and jeans with elastic waist. Anyone wishing more information, may contract Adell Harvel at 256-773-2906.
