Funeral for Imogene Kelly Brown, 80, of Decatur was Friday, Dec.1, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with David Bradford officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. She was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Morgan County to Palmer Kelly and Effie Dye Kelly. She was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church and a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman O. Brown.
She is survived by three sons, Ray Brown and wife Cindy, and Sherman Brown and wife Gladys, all of Danville, and Danny Brown of Huntsville; six daughters, Linda Johnson and Pamela Smith and husband Tony, all of Decatur, Martha Teague and husband David of Falkville, Shelby Atkins and husband J.C. of Mt. Hope, Shirleen “Susie” Wesson and husband Gary of Florence, and Janice Duke an husband Randy of Cullman; a sister, Ruth Key of Priceville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Nephews were pallbearers.
