Funeral for Alma Hampton Aldridge, 79, of Danville was Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gloria Lynne Herring officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Aldridge died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Sunbridge Care &Rehabilitation of Decatur. She was born November 3, 1927, in Morgan County to Jimmy Hampton and Elizabeth Poole Hampton.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Dewayne Aldridge of Decatur and Harold Doyne Aldridge of Danville; a daughter, Dara Dianne Carnell of Owens Crossroads; two brothers, Arthur Hampton of Lancaster, Calif. and Howard Hampton of Hartselle; a sister, Wilma Ryan of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends of the family were pallbearers.
