Nina Parker Brown

Funeral for Nina Parker Brown, 94, of Hartselle will be Thur., Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Wed., Feb. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Mon., Feb. 6, 2012, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Jefferson County to John William Parker and Frances L. Poole Parker. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and was employed in the cafeteria at the former Morgan County High School for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Brown; a daughter, Judy Brown; and her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Ted Brown of Hartselle and Don Brown and wife Sandra of Arab; a daughter, Linda Brown Foster and husband Steve of New Orleans, La.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
