Holly Sue Vess

Holly Sue Vess, 38, of Somerville died Sun., Jan. 15, 2012, at her residence.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sat., Jan. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Ms. Vess was born July 17, 1973, in Morgan County to Rickey and Carol Sartain Vess. She was a member of Crosspoint Community Church and a student at Calhoun Community College. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Ann Brantley.

She is survived by her parents, Rickey and Carol Vess of Somerville; a brother, Jeffery Vess and wife Kandye of Decatur; her grandparents, Hollis and Sue Holley of Decatur and Wallace Vess of Huntsville; an aunt, Sandy Brown of Decatur; two uncles, Gary Sartain of Danville and Mark Vess of Huntsville; and 12 nephews and nieces, Breanna Vess, Jaime and Haylee Johnson, Marlee Norman, David Allen Vess, Austin Compton, Jonathan Folger, Jaime, Josh and Joe Brown, Hannah Long and Holly Faulk.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
