Library offering "Once Upon a Time…"
The Falkville Public Library 2006 Summer Library Program "Once Upon A Time" began June 1 with ribbon cutting ceremony kickoff.
The program will continue throughout the summer with the following events:
Bring your favorite stuffed friend for a snack and a fairy tale.

Old State Bank planning summer events
Registration is under way for the 2006 Past Times Summer History program for elementary students at the historic 1833 Old State Bank in Decatur. Camp sessions will be June 13, 20 and 27, and July 11, 18 and 25 at 10 a.m.-noon. Each session will feature a mix of games, crafts, music, stories, dance, historical demonstrations and special guest visitors.
Class sizes are limited and advance reservations are required. Program fee is $5 per session to cover supplies and snacks.
