Penn, Borden to wed March 25
Tim and Anita Penn of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Nichole Penn, to Christopher Alan Borden, son of Sandra Borden of Hartselle and Gene and Vickie Borden of Eva.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School and currently attends Wallace State Community College.
She is employed with the City of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Ronnie Penn, Joe and Hester Bennich, and Donna and B.W. Pressnell, all of Hartselle. She is the great granddaughter of Ruby Millsap of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Hartselle High School and currently attends Calhoun Community College. He is employed with Sonoco of Hartselle. He is the grandson of Orvlene Borden of Somerville, Arthenia Borden of Decatur, the late Robert Borden and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sullivan.
The wedding will be held March 25 at 6 p.m. at Somerville Baptist Church.
Baldwin, Norris to wed Sept. 30
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy E. Baldwin Jr. of Ozark announce the engagement of their daughter Dr. Jessica Lynor Baldwin of Madison, to Jordan Paul Norris of Huntsville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Norris of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Dale County High School, a 2001 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's of science degree in physical science, and a 2005 graduate of University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry with a doctor of optometry degree. She is employed with Family Vision Center as an optometrist.
The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed with Boeing of Decatur as a mechanical engineer.
The wedding will be held Sept. 30 in Springville.
Reeder, Savage to wed May 20
James and Cindy Reeder of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Reeder of Auburn, to Jonathan Glenn Savage of Auburn, son of Glenn and Francie Savage of Alabaster.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School and is currently a senior at Auburn University majoring in accounting. She is employed with USDA. She is the granddaughter of James L. and Sara Reeder, Theron and Joyce Breeding, all of Hartselle, and the late James R. Martin.
The groom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Thompson High School and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University. He is employed with Heartstrings Enterprises as an IT/systems manager. He is the grandson of Geraldine Chaney of Southaven, Miss., Jimmie Savage of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., the late Herschel Chaney, and the late Luther Savage.
The wedding will be held May 20 at Westview Plantation, the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Burleson.
Wynn, Morrow to wed May 27
Mike and Karen Wynn of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsey Brooke Wynn, to Heath Vann Morrow, son of Vann and Susan Morrow of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Austin High School and is currently attending the University of North Alabama. She is employed with Kids Safari Daycare of Muscle Shoals. She is a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Iota Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, and the K-6 Organization.
She is the granddaughter of Bill and Peggy Brett and Jenny McTyeire, all of Decatur.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and is currently attending the University of North Alabama. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and the K-6 Organization. He is the grandson of Harold and Tiny Andrews of Hartselle and the late Joe and Bea Morrow.
The wedding will be held May 27 aboard the Holiday Cruise Liner in Mobile.
