Funeral for the Rev. William A. Hall, 84, of Decatur was Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Goodwin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Bethel Methodist Cemetery at Gum Pond.
Bro. Hall died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham. He was born March 2, 1921, in Morgan County to William Joseph Hall and Dixie Etta Morgan Hall. He was a retired minister and was also retired from Americold in Cullman. Bro. Hall was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rada Graham Hall; and a son, William Guary Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Hammond Hall of Falkville; a son, Stanley Hall of Eva; four daughters, Sharon Hall of Decatur, Elizabeth Keith of Pell City, Debbie Rappe of Muskogee, Okla. and Ramona Hill of Falkville; a stepson, Eddie Hammond of Florida; two stepdaughters, Gloria Miller of Decatur and Donnie Sims of Trinity; two brothers, Homer H. Hall of Falkville and Curtis Hall of Akron, Ohio; three sisters, Annie Lee Ledbetter of Decatur, Eleanor Pearl Graham of Eva and Dollie Sue South of Falkville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brett Hall, Brian Stiles, Jacky Sandlin, Jarod Hill, Jamie Rappe, Michael Rappe, Robert Keith and Jerry Hill.
