Marine Corps Cpl. Olen L. Argo, son of Carolyn Roberts of Somerville and Robert Roberts of Somerville recently was promoted to his current rank while serving with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N. C.
Argo is a 2001 graduate of Brewer High.
Army National Guard Pfc. Brandon L. Poteete has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
Poteete is the son of Anita Breeding of Somerville.
Army National Guard Pvt. Heather L. Stephens has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
She is the daughter of Candee C. Martini of Arab and Dan T. Stephens of Huntsville.
The private is a 1999 graduate of A.P. Brewer High School.
