Ruby Helen Slaten Henderson Thomas

Funeral for Ruby Helen Slaten Henderson Thomas, 79, of Somerville was Friday, July 22, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jamie McMinn and Dewitt Crowe officiating. Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at her residence. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Thomas.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Franklin Henderson and Keith Allen Henderson, both of Decatur, and Larry L. Henderson of Somerville; two brothers, James Slaten of Decatur and Charles Slaten of Somerville; two sisters, Kathryn Lillback of Fairport Harbor, Ohio and Betty McCarley of Decatur; six grandchildren, Chris Henderson, Jeannie Darnell, Crystal Brassell, Danielle Franklin, Shawn Henderson and Katie Henderson; three great-grandchildren, Kala Henderson, Nathan Darnell and Zane Henderson.
Pallbearers were Wesley Wayne Henderson, Curtis Slaten, Shawn Henderson, Jimmy Darnell, Josh Franklin, Kenneth Slaten and Joel Slaten.
