Estie Irene Holloway

Funeral for Estie Irene Holloway, 89, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Terry Taylor and Judy Lyles officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born March 17, 1916, in Cullman County to the late Silas Roberts and Elizabeth Hall Roberts.
She was well-known and loved by many people. She helped feed thousands at Holloway's Bar-B-Q, which she and her late husband, Doug Holloway, owned and operated on Highway 31 North in Hartselle for nearly 30 years, from 1957 to 1985. She raised five children and assisted with 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Donnie Wray and Wayne Holloway, both of Hartselle; three daughters, Ann Raley and Pam Self, both of Hartselle, and Kathryn Gardner of Danville; 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and nine great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Self, Justin Self, Jim Raley, Ricky Gardner, Robbie Holloway and Michael Holloway.
