Stella Hammon Livingston

Funeral for Mrs. Stella Hammon Livingston, 76, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), May 5, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Livingston died Monday, May 2, 2005, at her residence. She was born Dec. 7, 1928, in Morgan County to James Daniel Hammon and Lonie Belle Williams Hammon.
With her loving smile and warm caring heart, Stella has gone to join her Lord in heaven. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, neighbor and friend to all. Her wisdom, compassion and inspiration will be missed by all, but her love for life and family will be missed most of all. There is no better time for remembering all the ways she was special and all the reasons she was loved. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, A. G. Livingston; one daughter, Martha Darwin; one son, Allen Livingston; five sisters; and five brothers. She was a member of Point Mallard Parkway Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Tucker and husband Larry of Panacea, Fla., Pam Doran and husband Billy and Cherri Scott and husband Adam, all of Decatur; two brothers, Condon Hammon and Eugene Hammon, both of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hammon, Micky Hammon, Ricky Hammon, Eddie Hammon, David Hammon, Wayne Hammon, Bill Hammon, Danny Hammon, Ronnie Hammon and Shane Hammon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mac Burchell, Ronald Yancey, Terry Miller, Bobby Wilson and Michael Wilson.
