Hartselle school board accepted letters of resignation from 13 personnel and acted on seven other requests at its last regular meeting on April 21. Letters of resignation were accepted from the following:
A transfer from special education science to special education English was approved for Jill Hill, a special education teacher at Hartselle Junior High.
Employment was approved for Donna Foster, a physical science teacher at Hartselle High, retroactive to April 11 for the remainder of the 2004-05 school year.
Catastrophic sick leave was approved for Lisa Wilcutt, a second grade teacher at Crestline Elementary (three to five days beginning April 18 or 25) and Cindy Greenhaw, a teacher aide at Hartselle High (retroactive to March 2 through April 4 and to continue on a day-to-day basis as needed).
Family medical leave was approved for Hannah Witt, a third grade teacher at F.E. Burleson Elementary if needed, following use of sick leave and personal l eave days beginning May 9, through May 25 and Angie Baker, a custodian at the central office if needed, following use of sick leave and vacation leave beginning on or about May 22.
Approved a request from Kelly McKee, a second grade teacher at Barkley Bridge Elementary, to continue her salary for one-half day of work missed Feb. 4.
