Mrs. Arnold Lucille Barnes

Funeral for Mrs. Arnold L. Barnes, 87, of Rogersville was Monday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Burtis Ray officiating. Burial was in Civitan Cemetery, Rogersville.
Mrs. Barnes died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a member of Rogersville First Baptist Church, a homemaker and seamstress. She was well known in the community for her sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband E. T. "Dick" Barnes, parents, Mae Sanders Smith and William Thomas Smith, and her daughter, Dixie Chenault.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her daughter, Virginia Clemons and husband Robert W. Clemons of Hartselle; sister, Callie Lee Green of Alamogorda, N.M.; son-in-law, Jimmy Chenault of Hartselle; three grandchildren, Robbie Coffey, Dick Clemons and Ronald Chenault; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dick Clemons, Rickey Coffey, Patrick Clemons, Jarvis Brewer, Perry Calvert and Ronald Chenault.
Memorials may be made to Rogersville Emergency Ambulance Unit.
