Soul Harbor to hold revival next week

I hope everyone had a very good week!

A singing will be held at Soul Harbor Baptist church in Somerville Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. Guest singers will be New Life. Pastor Joey Staton, song director Paul Frazier and church members send out a warm welcome to everyone.

On Sept. 10, the Soggy Bottom Barn will have the Shady Creek Bluegrass Band performing beginning at 7 p.m.

J.J., Jayla, Louis, Jacob, Ashley and Vickey Daugette and Carley Norwood visited with Ray Pendegraph at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham on Saturday. Afterwards they went to Palisades Park for a picnic.

Soul Harbor Baptist Church will hold revival services Sept. 11-14, at 7 p.m. each night. The church is located on Somerville Cut-off Road.

Happy anniversary wishes to Scott and Natashia Free.

A baby shower was given in honor of Natashia Ransome, who is expecting a baby girl very soon.

Prayers and get well wishes go out to Bea Freeman who is in Decatur General Hospital. Prayers also go to Gene Blevins and Ray Pendegraph.

Brewer High School’s football team will be playing Hartselle in Hartselle on Friday night.

I hope all you Alabama football fans are ready for the season to begin. Saturday is the big day!

Welcomed luncheon guests at the home of Pastor Jacob Daugette and Ashley on Sunday were Charles and Joan Free, Jack and Faith Kemp and Vickey and Jayla Daugette.

A big hello and love goes to my grandchildren, Julie Daugette, Jeannie, Jacob and Jaden Moore.

Members of Somerville Assembly and Pastor Jacob Daugette invite everyone to attend services with them if you don’t have a church home.

You can attend the following services: Sunday School begins at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and Sunday evening worship at 6 p.m.
