Rita Marie Ball

Funeral for Rita Marie Ball, 76, of Vinemont was Saturday, December 11, at 11 a.m. at Tunsel Road Baptist Church with the Revs. Ralph Henderson and Jerry Fleming officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Battleground Cemetery.
Mrs. Ball died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Alabama to Matthew Jackson and Annier Hopper Jackson. She was a member of Tunsel Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon Ball; and her great-grandson, Johnathan Waldrop.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Ball and wife Cindy of Jasper and Billy Ball and wife Linda of West Point, Ala.; one daughter, Sue Buckelew and husband Travis of West Point, Ala.; three brothers, Robert Hopper and wife Margie of Vinemont, Marvin Hopper and wife, Barbara of Albertville and Lecil Hopper and wife Donna of Lake Station, Ind.; one sister, Bobbie Jean Ball and husband, Junior, of Vinemont; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kim Ball, Kenneth Ball, Marvin Ball, Terry Mize, Phillip Stewart, Clark Hopper and Heath Hopper.
