Marvin G. Olson

A memorial service for Marvin G. Olson, 36, of Alabaster , will be Thursday (today), Sept. 2, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Birmingham with the Revs. John Rutland Jr. and David D. Commer officiating.
Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Mr. Olson died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, in Decatur. He was born May 10, 1968, in Wisconsin to John and Rose Olson. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his father John Olson.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Feldman Olson of Alabaster; his mother, Rose Olson of Sedgewick, Kan.; one brother, John Olson and wife Joanne Wilcox of Dallas, Tex.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elwood and Janet Feldman of Gainsville, Ga.; brother-in-law, Tommy Feldman and wife Heather of Gainsville, Ga.; niece, Abby Olson of Dallas, Tex.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church for the Marvin Olson Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 13037, Birmingham, AL 35202.
