Engagements and weddings

Anderson, Stephenson to wed
Jack and Nancy Anderson of Carbon Glenn, Ill. announce the engagement of their daughter, Serena Kathryn Anderson of El Cerrito, Calif., to Ned Anthony Stephenson II of El Cerrito, Calif., son of Ned and Betsy Stephenson of Hartselle.
The bride elect is an undergraduate of Carlton College in Minnesota and a 2003 graduate of the University of California at Berkley where she received her Ph.D. in chemistry. She is employed by USDA Research in Centerin Albany, Calif. She is the granddaughter of Dorthy Keech of Glenn Fall, N.Y., the late Harold Keech, and the late Ray and Elsie Anderson.
The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of A.P. Brewer High School and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University where he received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of California at Berkley, where he is employed as a graduate teaching assistant and researcher. He is the grandson of L.D. and Nan Beavers and Bertie Stephenson, all of Hartselle, and the late James L. Stephenson.
The wedding will be held July 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the El Cerrito Christian Center.
Alexander, Burleson to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie and Kim Alexander of Moulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Jean Alexander, to Mark Anthony Burleson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony and Debbie Burleson of Mantachie, Miss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Owens of Speake, the late Edward Owens, Sarah Othel Fuller of Clio, Mich., and the late Garlin Alexander of Speake.
She is a 2000 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2004 graduate of Mississippi State University. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree from Mississippi State University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Curtis and Pernecy Burleson of Mantachie, Miss. and the late Shorty and Pauline Easterling of Blue Springs, Miss.
He is a 1998 graduate of Mantachie High School and a 2002 graduate of Mississippi State University. He is currently a junior at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
The wedding will be July 24 at 2 p.m. at the Starkville Church of Christ in Starkville, Miss.
Bryan, Boger to wed July 24
Judie Schueler of Falkville and Keith and Becky Bryan of Eva announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Beth Bryan, to Jonathan Thomas Boger, son of Renata and Mickey Boger of Falkville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Falkville High School and Auburn University. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, the Society of Human Resources, and the Tigerettes and Tiger Hosts. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Helen Thomas and J.L. Bryan, all of Falkville, and the late Hassie Bryan.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Falkville High School and received a technical degree in machine shop at Wallace State College. He is employed by Dan Wachtel Ford in Athens. He is the grandson of the late Lorene and Johnny Hill, Alenne Boger of Falkville and the late Albert Boger.
The wedding will be held July 24 at First Baptist Church of Falkville.
Lott, Orr exchange vows
Edith S. Lott and James Orr, both of Hartselle, were married June 5, 2004 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her son-in-law, daughter and granddaughter, Greg, Cookie and Catherine Garner, all of Hartselle.
Catherine Garner was maid of honor.
Carley Corder of Hartselle and Merret Huey of Birmingham, great granddaughter of the groom, were flower girls. Patrick Orr of Birmingham, grandson of the groom, was ring bearer.
Doug Orr of Birmingham, son of the groom, was best man.
Keith Corder of Hartselle and Clay Graben of Montgomery were ushers.
Music was provided by pianist Allison Keenum of Hartselle and soloist Bro. Charles Shaddix of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Station in Hartselle.
