Russell 'Lamar' Johnson

Funeral for Russell "Lamar" Johnson, 54, of Hartselle was Saturday, March 20, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at SunBridge Care &Rehabilitation of Decatur. He was born July 11, 1949, in Morgan County. He was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. He was retired from 3M and was the former owner of Johnson's Jewelry.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Johnson of Hartselle; one son, Michael Johnson of Montevallo; one daughter, Michelle Ezell and husband Barry of Athens; one stepdaughter, Crystal Vinzant of Hartselle; his mother, Jeannette Blackwood of Hartselle; his father, Kenneth Johnson of Hartselle; his stepmother, Nell Johnson of Hartselle; one brother, Barry Johnson of Neel; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth Sage Johnson, Miranda Mae Ezell, Jasper Leah Johnson and Ian Clay Ezell.
Pallbearers were Royce Thrasher, Rusty Anders, Will Eaton, Connie Walden, Chuck Winton and Brian Roan.
