Funeral for Willie C. Booth, 82, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Booth died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1921 in Cullman to Dennis A. Cofer and Bessie Lindsay Cofer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartselle and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a veteran of World War II, where she served in the United States Army WAC (Women's Army Corp). She was the widow of James Powers Booth, Sr. , the mother of the late Earl Dixon Booth and the sister of the late Alton Cofer.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Booth of Hartselle and James P. Booth, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Jamie Booth, Dena B. Mayfield and Mason Booth; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Trimm, Jack Templeton, Larry Fields, William Booth and Jerry Olson.
