Funeral for Betty Jean Cox Wallace, 56, of Decatur, was Saturday, Aug. 16, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens with Mark Posey and Wade West officiating.
Burial was in Limestone Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at her residence. She was born September 2, 1946 in Limestone County. She was a member of Austinville Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Austin Wallace of Decatur; one son, Hank Wallace of Decatur; her mother, Eva Freeman of Athens; one sister, Nancy Romine of Birmingham; one brother, David Cox of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.
