Students in schools all over the globe take Advanced Placement (AP) exams every spring. The College Board’s AP® program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. 

The College Board released the AP scores in July. A total of 60 Hartselle High School students earned AP Scholar Awards to recognize their exceptional achievement on AP Exams taken in Spring 2023.  

The AP Scholar Awards are a series of awards given by the College Board to students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement. The high school students must earn a three or above score on at least three AP exams.
