Where is your hope found?

By Todd Barrier

In Hebrews 10:23, the Bible says “Let us hold fast the confession of [our] hope without wavering, for He who promised [is] faithful.”

This is such a reassuring verse in a sometimes confusing and scary world. It reminds us that the same God who sent His Son to die for us, the same God that loves us and wants the best for us is faithful to us. Our hope is built in Him, the hope of an eternal life with Him. We can hold onto that hope in all situations that scare us or worry us because of the fact that he is faithful to that promise of hope. He is the author of hope and gives that foundation to stand on in good and tough times alike.

As we go into the new year and things get a little bumpy for some of us, just remember it may be a new year or a new problem, but it’s the same God that has gotten us through difficult things before. Is your hope found in Him?
