911 call leads to burglary arrest

Special to the Enquirer

Dec. 10, Inv. officers arrested Davis Stanford Dodd, 25, of Houston, Ala., for burglary in the third degree. Dodd was booked into the Morgan County Jail with a $2,500 bond.

The arrest was the result of a 911 call received by officers about a male suspect using force to enter two residential homes. Officers arrived on scene and the suspect was seen trying to flee the area. Officers detained the suspect and identified him as Dodd. Patrol officers, along with investigators, determined that Dodd did force his way into the two residences. Dodd remained in those homes unlawfully and caused significant damage. Dodd was arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail. Dodd will be facing additional charges.
