The Hartselle Lady Tigers volleyball team protected their home court by winning three of their four matches this past week. The 6A no. 5 Lady Tigers (5-4) defeated 7A Huntsville 2-0 (25-18, 25-21), 4A no. 9 Priceville 2-1 and 5A no. 5 Madison Academy 2-0 (25-10, 25-20). Their only blemish was a loss to 7A no. 3 Bob Jones 2-0 (25-18, 25-16.) Jadyn Chesser led Hartselle with 30 kills, 14 digs and four aces. Lydia Simmons had 15 kills and two blocks, while Abby Morris added 31 digs and 13 aces. Kennedy Sheats had eight kills, two blocks and an ace.
