Shady Grove Baptist Church announces April activities

Shady Grove Baptist Church members are pleased to announce their upcoming April events.  

April 16 Shady Grove Church members will meet at the church for breakfast. They will be giving out biscuits and a invitation to Sunday School at the intersection and then they will clean the church and grounds for Easter.  

Shady Grove Church members send out a big thank you to Hardees for the donation of 200 biscuits.  

Shady Grove Baptist Church will hold Good Friday Service and Communion April 15 at 7 p.m.  

The church members will hold their Super Sunday April 17 at 10:30 a.m. They have a goal for Sunday School for an attendance of 100.  

Everyone is invited to come to Shady Grove Baptist Church for worship and fellowship. Pastor is Tom Campbell. 

Town of Falkville Announcement 

The Town of Falkville would like everyone to please remember the town-wide yard sale. The yard sale will be held April 29-30 starting at 7 a.m. each day.  

Anyone interested in participating can go to the Town of Falkville Facebook page for details. Everyone who wishes to participate must register at Falkville Town Hall. 

Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse Fundraiser 

Morgan County Sheriff’s Posse members are holding a fundraiser, with all of the proceeds going to the rodeo for those with special needs. Members are selling tickets for a chance to win a Ruger AR-556, to be given away April 15 and to be picked up at Mike’s Gun and Pawn in Hartselle.  

Donation tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.  

You do not have to be present to win!  

All support will be greatly appreciated.
