HCS earns place in Top 10 school district ranking

Hartselle City Schools has been named as the No. 9 best school district in Alabama by Niche.com. 

According to the website, Niche calculates the rankings based on statistical data and parent and student surveys. 

Hartselle City Schools also was ranked as No. 4 in the state for the best teachers and No. 5 safest district in the state.

In the Huntsville and the north Alabama area, the district has been recognized as the safest district in the area and the best school for athletes. The district also placed first in Morgan County for best school district for athletes and safest school district. 

Each of the individual schools in the district received recognition as well. 

Barkley Bridge Elementary is ranked No. 3 best public elementary school in Alabama. The school also ranked as the best public elementary school in Morgan County and the best public elementary school teachers in Morgan County. 

Burleson Elementary School ranked as No. 19 in the state for best public elementary schools. The school is also second best in Morgan County for best public elementary school and best public elementary school teachers.

Crestline Elementary School is ranked as No. 46 in the state for best public elementary school teachers. The school also ranked as the No. 5 best public elementary school teachers in Morgan County and the No. 6 best public elementary school in Morgan County. 

Hartselle Intermediate School is ranked No. 3 for public middle school teachers in Alabama and the No. 13 best public middle school in Alabama. The school also ranked as the best public middle school in Morgan County and the second-best middle school teachers in Morgan County. 

Hartselle Junior High School ranked as the No. 2 best public middle school teachers in Alabama and the No. 17 best public middle school in Alabama. The school also ranked as the best public middle school teachers in Morgan County and the second best public middle schools in Morgan County. 

Hartselle High School ranked as the No. 7 best public high school teachers in Alabama and the No. 13 best public high school in Alabama. The school also ranked as the No. 13 best public high school for college preparation in the state. 

In Morgan County, Hartselle High ranks as the No. 1 best public high school, the No. 1 best high school teachers and the third-best high school for athletes.
