Sarah Minter Reeder

Funeral for Sarah Minter Reeder, 87, was Sunday, May 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Compton officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation was Saturday, May 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeder died Friday, May 6, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born May 7, 1923, in Morgan County to Raymon Minter and Odessa Angle Minter. She was a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Reeder.
She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Owen Reeder of Decatur, Jerry Michael Reeder of Huntsville and James Dwayne Reeder of Hartselle; a daughter, Brenda Reeder Peppers of Decatur; two sisters, Wilodean Whitley of Aimes, Iowa and Hazel Campbell of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
