MORGAN BAPTIST ASSOCIATION HOST SENIOR ADULT LUNCHEON

The Morgan Baptist Association hosted a Senior adult luncheon on Thur., July 6 at noon. The guest speaker was George Mills who served our country in WW11 and Mr. Mills was also a POW of that war. All those attending enjoyed hearing this hero’s testimony. A covered dish lunch was served.

Dr. Joe and Rachel Slate and Martha Jackson attended the retirement reception for Sara Love at Athens State University Parlor on Wed., July 12. There was a large attendance of friends and co-workers for Sara’s retirement reception. Congratulations Sara and best of luck in all that you do in the future.

Frankie Frasier Sturtevant, welcomes everyone to come out to her Eagle Thrift Store going out of business sale. The Eagle Thrift Store is located on 11 CO Rd. 1291, Cullman, AL. She is doing 70 percent off this week and 90 percent off the following week. The closing date for the business will be July 29. For more information please call Frankie at 256-708-7282. Wonderful happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week for Gary and Penny Vest and they will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary on Sun., July 23.

Special happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week for John and Mary Locklear and they will celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary on Thur., July 20.

Team Kid Club Members enjoyed celebrating the Fourth of July on Sun., July 2 at the Shady Grove Pavilion. They celebrated our country’s Independence with food and fellowship and fireworks.
