Funeral for Evie Hogan Morris, 56, of Falkville will be Wed., March 29, 2017 (today) at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Hardin officiating. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery immediately following the service today.

Mrs. Morris died Sat., March 25, 2017 at her home in Falkville surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born June 30, 1960 in Morgan County to Leemon Hogan and Stella Mae Russell Hogan. Mrs. Morris was formerly a barber and secretary. Most importantly, she was a devout Christian and a loving wife, mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters Melba Hogan and Dorothy Hogan and one brother Leemon Hogan, Jr.

Survivors include, her husband, Denny Morris; a daughter, Crystal Morris Zills (Zach); an honorary daughter, April Hogan; a brother, Leemon Wayne Hogan, Sr., and two step-grandchildren, Noah and Isaiah Zills.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hogan, Leemon Wayne Hogan, Sr., Edwin Hogan, Zach Zills, Mark England, Mac Morris, Gary Moore, Johnny Smith, and Thomas Pannell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy England, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Southern Care Hospice.
