Funeral for Phyllis Jean Cox, 81, of Somerville was Fri., March 17, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Chenault officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mrs. Cox died Mon., March 13, 2017, at her residence. She was born July 4, 1935, in Hudson, Mich., to Carl Simon Taylor and Bertha Margaret Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey Max Cox; three sons, Harvey Jr. Cox, Carey Wayne Cox and Charles Rick Cox; and a daughter, Susan Jean Cox.
