Hartselle takes down Albertville

The Hartselle boys and girl’s tennis teams picked up wins over Albertville this week.

The boys got a win over the Aggies 7-2. Single’s winners were Josh Burgreen 10-6, Nickolas Williams 10-3, Austin Taylor 11-9 and Seth McKee 10-4. The double’s winners were Williams and Burgreen 10-4, Paxton Preuitt and Lawrence 10-3 and Eli Parker and Taylor 10-6.

The girl’s team also picked up a win over the Aggies 8-1. The single’s winners were Caroline Jones 10-6, Erika Roman 10-1, Cassie Beth Powell 10-4, Sydney Pham 10-3, Kate Johnson 10-1 and Macie Cagle 10-0. Mikenzie Chumley, Hailey Holshouser and McKenna Wright also picked up victories each with a score of 6-0. The double’s winners were Jones and Powell 10-8 and Cagle and Hamlett 10-2. Chumleu and Holshouser also picked up a win 6-0 as well as Wright and McKenna Smallwood 6-2.
