A memorial service for Adam Rachel, 47, of Hartselle will be Sat., Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at Church of God of Prophecy in Hartselle with the Revs. Judy Lyles and Chris Bates officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Feb. 28, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Rachel died Sat., Feb. 21, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 11, 1968, in Michigan to George Frank Rachel Jr. and Barbara Louise Spicer Rachel. He was a firewatcher for Amec Company and was preceded in death by his father, George Frank Rachel Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Rachel of Hartselle; two brothers, Kerry Rachel of Decatur and Randy Rachel of Hartselle; a sister, Shelly Rachel of Hartselle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
