Celebrate each day’s glory

Sometimes when I get up in the mornings I am not in the best of moods believe it or not. There are just some days when we have many things going on and the last thing I want to do is to be in a good mood. Psalms 118:24 tell us this the day, which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. When we don’t feel like rejoicing if you’ll just tell God how you feel, I promise you that God will give a reason to rejoice because the glory of each day gives us another chance to start over.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Kenneth Ray Floyd and Kenneth Kent.

Happy birthday wishes this week to Robin Ferrell on Jan. 30, Danny Allen, Evelyn Motes, Emma Allen and Sierra Sutton, all on Jan. 31.

A very special happy birthday wish goes out this week to my mother, Evelyn Motes, who celebrates her birthday on Sat., Jan. 31. Love you very much.

New Center Baptist Church will be sponsoring the Art of Marriage Conference Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. and Feb. 14 until lunch. The cost is $25 per couple (all meals included). Start making plans now to attend.

My husband Nathan and I had the opportunity to see some friends recently we haven’t seen in awhile. It was good to see Nathan and Diane Pratt, their grandchildren, Brooklyn and Andrew Pratt and Nathan’s mom, Mrs. Joy Pratt. Wishing all of you a great week.
