Hartselle ranked ninth-best in Alabama

Hartselle High School is among the top 10 high schools in Alabama, according to U.S. News & World Report.
The news magazine ranked Hartselle No. 9 among 360 high schools in the state.
HHS was awarded a silver medal based on its test scores. Ninety-six percent of the students are proficient in math while 93 percent are proficient in reading.
The school’s college readiness index was 34.8. The student-teacher ratio is 17 to 1.
The Advanced Placement participation rate at Hartselle High School is 51 percent.
