Gary Long of Danville is pleased to announce the engagement of his daughter, Emily Long of Danville, to Cody Clemons of Danville, son of Hershel and Kristie Clemons of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Tina Long. She is the granddaughter of Bobby Anders and the late Syble Anders and the late Raythal and Rachel Long, all of Hartselle.

A graduate of Danville High School, she is employed by Gilchrist Pharmacy of Hartselle.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Roseine Nelson of Hartselle and the late Horace Nelson and the late Buck and Marie Clemons, all of Hartselle.

He is a graduate of Danville High School and is employed by Hartselle Utilities.

Vows will be exchanged Sat., May 31, at Walden Chapel Baptist Church in Danville.
