Northway reaches 2,000-point milestone

Riley Northway scored 28 points in No. 1 Brewer’s 55-47 win over Madison Academy in the Huntsville Times Classic Thursday afternoon.
She completed another double-double performance with 10 rebounds and three assists. She was also 11-for-11 at the foul stripe and was eight of 15 from the field.
Savana Flack was next with eight pointsfive rebounds and two assists. Brooke Childers had six points followed by Malerie Drinkard with four, Cheyenne McLemore with three and Tamena Chatman with one.
The Lady Patriots will face Decatur in the second round of the Huntsville Times Classic today.
