Nagatha Howell Morgan

Funeral for Nagatha Howell Morgan, 85, of Hartselle will be Fri., Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert Sparkman and Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Dec. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morgan died Tues., Dec. 17, 2013, at Columbia Cottage in Hartselle. She was born July 24, 1928, in Morgan County to Kyle Rackley and Beatrice Netherly Rackley. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Hartselle. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and was preceded in death by two husbands, Buddy Howell and Van Morgan; and by one brother, Jerry Kyle Rackley, Sr.

She is survived by a son, Johnnie Howell and wife LuJeanne of Hartselle; a daughter, Sandra Hardin and husband Rickey of Falkville; a brother, John Rackley, Sr., Arley; a sister, a sister, Peggy Barham of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Chris Howell, Clayton Howell, James Hardin and John Hardin.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Rackley, Jr., Kyle Rackley, Jr., Jimmy Rackley, James Doran, James Hardin and John Hardin.
