Library to offer computer course

Belated birthday wishes are extended to Lilly Ferrell from First Baptist Church in Falkville. Her special day was Aug. 28.

Falkville Public Library has been awarded a LSTA federal grant. This money is to be used to buy books for the library ,Library hours are Mon., Tues. and Thurs., 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Wed., 8 a.m. until 12 noon.

A Microsoft Office computer class is scheduled to begin Mon., Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m. A $30 deposit fee is required but is fully refundable for those who finish the course. Students need a flash drive and have knowledge of basic computer skills. For more information, phone 256-784-5822.
