A graveside service for Thermon Leon “T.L.” Mayfield, 84, of Hartselle will be Wed., April 3, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Aaron Warnick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Wed., April 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mayfield died Mon., April 1, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 13, 1928, in Morgan County to Clarence Walton Mayfield and Lether Bell Randolph Mayfield. Mr. Mayfield was formerly a machinist for NAPA Auto Parts.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dean Mayfield of Hartselle; two sons, Jerry Mayfield and wife Debbie of Hartselle and Steve Mayfield and wife Myra of Falkville; a daughter, Mary Boster and husband Kenneth of Hartselle; a brother, Billy Mayfield and wife Judy of Moulton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
