Somerville man faces theft charge
A Somerville man was arrested by Decatur police on Dec. 27 at the Decatur Wal-Mart and charged with theft in the second degree.
Dylan Kim Lindsey, 48, of 330 Sharp Road was arrested by Detective John Harris and remanded to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
DPD received a call from Wal-Mart at 2800 Spring Ave. SW about a theft. The dispatcher was told a man was observed inside the store concealing a large quantity of merchandise in a bag. The suspect ran when confronted by store employees but was caught and detained until officers arrived on the scene.
The theft of property valued at between $500 and $2,500 constitutes theft of property II and is a Class C felony.
