Lend a hand to those less fortunate

When we lend a helping hand do we do it to be a help or is it out of an obligation. So often these days it has become difficult to determine who does need help. Often- times, the need is not of money but just a simple kind word to someone. This could mean so much. I myself realize that with all that God has blessed me with I need to do more to help those who are less fortunate, not only during this Christmas season but any other time as well.
