Orbit ‘Junior’ Newberry

November 24, 2012

A memorial service for Orbit “Junior” Newberry, 65, of Danville will be Sat., Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Double Springs with Peck Funeral Home officiating.

Burial will be in Beaty Cemetery, Monroe, Tenn.

Junior is a Vietnam veteran, member of the Order of the Purple Hearts, American Legion and VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Newberry; sister, Bobbie Jean Hopson of Hartselle; son, Ronald Newberry and wife Denise of Hemet, Calif.; daughter, Christy Christensen and husband Danny of Sun City, Calif.; three grandsons; and 43 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Flowers or memorials can be sent to Peck Funeral Home.
