Man charged with making threats

By Staff
A Huntsville man has been charged with making a terrorist threat in connection with a May 14 incident in Somerville.
Stephen Barry Allan, 43, of 7803 Michael Circle, was arrested in Limestone County last week on an initial charge of harassment which was later upgraded to making terrorist threats, a felony. He was booked into Morgan County Jail on $5,000 bond which was later upgraded to $30,000.
Deputies had responded to a Somerville home May 14 after a woman complained Allan, her ex-husband, made threats against her and her 8-year-old daughter.
While deputies were at the house, Allan made numerous phone calls to the house. Deputies listened to the calls and then contacted Allan, a convicted felon, who allegedly repeated the threats and threatened to kill the deputies.
