A Danville family lost everything it owned in a house fire at 491 N. Johnson Chapel Road on New Year’s Eve.
Rural volunteer firefighters from Danville Neel, Punkin Center and Massey responded to the blaze, which was reported at approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, and worked for about two hours to bring it under control.
The house was occupied by Chris and Candi Reynolds and their two sons, ages 2 and 4. No one was at home when the fire broke out.
Firefighters reported heavy structure damage and the loss of the building’s contents, including gifts the children received for Christmas.
